Steel I beams or girders with sinusoidal corrugated profile webs have become popular in the recent development of steel structural designs, since corrugated-web (CWBs) can provide better performance terms less deformation and more stability against buckling failure. It is verified previous research that CWBs be considered as an alternative to replace normal designs their numerous favourable features. Since are being used main elements, it apparent some essential practical properties this type should studied, where prediction shear capacity one most significant design aspects accurately investigated. Calculations formulas from other standards several finite element simulations been carried out compare differences obtained results find adequate approach calculate for Australian civil engineering community. Ultimate Limit State theory has utilised conjunction AS4100 (2017) along linear analysis SAP2000. By comparing theoretical calculations numerical simulations, concluded highly formed equations presented by EN 1993-1-5 (Design Structures Part 1–5: Plated Structural Elements, Eurocode 3, Brussels, 2006), Hancock et al. (2012) could well estimate constraining requirements rules accordance standards, which adequately fields.
